Moon Liu
Board Member
Moon Liu helps coordinate the organization’s programs and communications, working closely with team mentors and outreach volunteers to keep the board’s plans connected to what teams actually need day to day. Moon’s background is in software and controls, and much of the organization’s volunteer time comes from balancing that work alongside a full course load.
Jay Wang
Board Member
Jay Wang oversees the organization’s finances and sponsor relationships, preparing the budgets and filings the board reviews each year. Jay came up through one of the founding teams as a student and has stayed involved as a volunteer since, with a particular interest in keeping the organization’s administrative work sustainable for an all-volunteer board.
Owen Fong
Board Member
Owen Fong leads the organization’s outreach efforts, working with new schools to get robotics programs started and paired with an experienced partner team. Owen mentors a team directly most seasons and brings that firsthand experience with mechanical design to the board’s discussions about what new teams need most in their first year.
Stuart Li
Board Member
Stuart Li coordinates the organization’s mentor network, matching volunteer mentors with teams and running orientation for new mentors each season. Stuart is a former student competitor who has continued as a mentor after graduating, and helped design the current intake process for incoming volunteers.
